Je continue dans ma série gâteaux detox/light. Comment se passe votre détox? Pour ma part, j'ai tenu presque une semaine sans boire de vin ni de thé, mais j'avoue que je suis bien contente d'en reboire, surtout le thé, qui n'est pas vraiment un vice mais plutôt, hum, un art de vivre. I cannot believe I let so much time go before I finally got down to writing about this book. It was on my wishlist for the longest time before it came out because of an article I had read in Bon Appetit and all the blog hype surrounding the crack pie.

Ces nouilles de sarrasin japonaises vite cuites. Hello my friends, comme dirait Dora, j'ai passé d'excellentes, bien que courtes, vacances au Portugal, malgré un rhume déclaré dès le 2° jour.

I don't know why I didn't go to the Momofuku milk bar when I was in New York. It crossed my mind, of course, to eat a pork bun and some crack pie but somehow we didn't make it, it didn't seem important at the time.

Le week-end dernier, je suis allée à Paris seule, sans mari, sans   enfants, en toute liberté (seules les autres mères peuvent   comprendre je pense). J'ai retrouvé ma cousine, qui est un peu comme  ma  grande soeur, et nous avons passé un super week-end de filles avec   beaucoup de papotage, de shopping et de bons moments avec des amis.

A few weeks ago, W and I escaped to Berlin without the girls, who stayed at his mum's. A fine arrangement for all.

It is a jumble of tinsel, tiny wooden figures and felt trees, and now thanks to Nikolaus, Kinder chocolate Santas.
